What a day. After I went for a run this morning (somewhat better views than normal!), we sat down for breakfast, and there was a Minke Whale in the bay outside the window. We then had a long drive north on which we saw some moose on the road – apparently that’s quite rare in the middle of the day. Upon arrival in St Antony’s we rushed out to see if we could catch the last iceberg boat tour – ice was guaranteed!. A great tour following the trail of whales – but they had gone too far to catch up. The icebergs we saw were amazing though- weird shapes, deep rich colours and right up close. Quite a day.
